FSNtracks: Covert Cargo Tracking

With FSNtracks, you can tighten freight security for high-value assets by monitoring the movements of covert tracking devices using real-time GPS from a PC. Using state-of-the-art Assisted GPS tracking devices, FSNtracks collects real-time location data and presents it via a convenient Web-based console that allows everyone in the supply and distribution chains to track shipment progress—all you need is an Internet connection, a Web browser, and secure login information to FSNtracks.

The FSNtracks console shows high-quality map data (including satellite views) and displays the positions of tracking devices with markers that move as the tracking devices change GPS location. Positions of tracking devices are updated automatically at set frequencies. By polling a tracking device, you can determine its location instantly; or you can view its position over a period of time. GPS location is updated as often as you like (down to every 60 seconds), and you can request immediate position and status information.

From FSNtracks you can:

• Track each covert tracking device individually, and view its location on high-quality maps (including satellite views) that zoom down to street-level clarity.

  
   

• Track the movement of a covert tracking device by viewing its last 10, 20, or 60 positions on the map, or viewing its position over the last 5 minutes to 24 hours, or viewing its position between any dates and times over the last 90 days.

  
  
  

• Group covert tracking devices (e.g., into a shipment) and track their progress all at once. Each device (or group) can be assigned unique markers on the map to let you distinguish between devices visually as you track multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Pre-define a transit route for a transport vehicle, setting the boundaries within which it is safe and acceptable to drive with FSNtracks’ Geofence. If the truck crosses out of the safe zone, you are instantly notified of the violation.

  
  
  

• Pre-define “red zones” where you do not want transport vehicles to cross using FSNtrack’s Geofence. If the truck crosses into a “red zone”, you are instantly notified of the violation.
