Employing FreightWatch's covert cargo tracking technology—FSNtracks—ERC staff locate the stolen cargo by using FSNtracks to determine the position of tracking devices included with the shipment. Once ERC staff know where the stolen cargo is located, they use the integrated Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) database to identify which law enforcement agencies have jurisdiction in the area. ERC staff speed recovery of stolen cargo by using FSNtracks to monitor the movements of the cargo, and constantly updating law enforcement officers of any changes to location.
