Cargo Security Organizations

With more than 34,000 members, ASIS International (www.asisonline.org) is the largest international organization for professionals responsible for security, including managers and directors of security. In addition, corporate executives and other management personnel, as well as consultants, architects, attorneys, and federal, state, and local law enforcement, are becoming involved with ASIS to better understand the constant changes in security issues and solutions.

The International Cargo Security Council (www.cargosecurity.com) is a nonprofit association representing professionals active in intermodal transportation and supply chain security. ICSC members have a wide range of responsibilities and interests, including but not limited to shipping, loss prevention, risk management and counterterrorism. Many ICSC members hold senior positions in the public or private sector, from multinational manufacturing companies and trade logistics providers to security technology firms and law enforcement entities.
