Freight Security Net, a subsidiary of international logistics security agency FreightWatch Group (FWG), has launched its covert cargo tracking service after extensive trials in the United States with leading Fortune 500 manufacturers. FSNtracks is a secure, web-based service that electronically extends FreightWatch logistics security coverage by monitoring high-value consumer products while they are being delivered to distributors and resellers. In-transit cargo theft, estimated to be greater than $20 Billion per year in the United States, is a growing problem. It is too costly to always escort high-value loads with security officers. The FSNtracks solution makes driver compliance monitoring and cargo tracking much more affordable by replacing human resources with low cost, portable, electronic tracking devices.
